Ellen Post, 61, of South Plainfield, passed away on Sunday, November 19 at RWJUH in Somerville. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sylvie (Browne) Post.
Ellen worked for many years as a Payment Operator for Deutsche Bank in Piscataway. She loved to play bingo, scratch offs and go to casinos. She also loved her coffee. More than anything though, Ellen loved her family, her children and her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ellen is survived by her beloved children, sons Eric Jones, Brian Jones and and daughter Jaycee Murray. She is also survived by her 9 cherished grandchildren as well as by her sisters, Betty Post and Barbara Hagen.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22 from 9:00-10:00am at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
