Edward J Fahy, Jr

Edward Joseph Fahy, Jr age 28 of Warren, died on September 3 2016. Born on January 1 1988, Edward was the first child and son of Edward J Fahy and Maureen O’Reilly.

Edward graduated from Seton Hall Prep and attended the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, majoring in chemistry and minoring in math. He tutored his younger siblings in both chemistry and math. He was always very proud of obtaining a perfect score of 800 on the math section of the SAT. He also played both the guitar and piano and wrote music. He loved to attend concerts, especially Neil Young, Disco Biscuits and Phish. Edward was a nature lover and environmentalist, and animal lover, including his 2 cats, Smokey and Ponyo. He attended Camp Dudley on Lake Champlain, NY for 5 years. Edward was always the life of the party and deeply devoted to his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and was a kind hearted soul. He will be deeply missed by his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rest in peace Edward, we love you.

Edward is survived by his loving parents, Edward Fahy, Sr and Maureen O’Reilly, his 5 siblings, John, Isabella, Robert, William and Thomas, as well as by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and from 7:00-9:00PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 10 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s of Stony Hill Catholic Church in Watchung. Burial will follow at Holy Cross cemetery in Basking Ridge.
