Edward W. Marren, 67, died peacefully Aug. 25, 2016, at JF Kennedy Medical Center in Edison with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Somerville and had been a lifelong resident of Plainfield. Edward earned a Bachelor of Science and also earned his degree in Philosophy at Wadhmans Hall Seminary. He also held a Bachelors in Social Work. He was also working on, but had not completed his Masters at NJ State.
Edward was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Plainfield and a former communicant of St. John’s Church in Dunellen.
His daughter Lana died in 2012. Surviving is his wife Denise, 2 sons, Rayvon and Kyle both of Plainfield, his brother Jeffrey of Dunellen, and many adopted grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial visitation on Thursday September 1, 2016 from 9:00-10:00AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
