Dorothy H (Hricz) Dolgos

Dorothy H Dolgos, 85, a longtime Piscataway Township resident, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 27, 2017 at her home. She was born in Manville, NJ as the eldest child of the late George and Cecilia Hricz.

Dorothy attended Bound Brook High School where she met her high school sweetheart Stephen John Dolgos. They were married on June 8, 1952, beginning a love affair that would last for over 60 years. Dorothy and Stephen began their family while living in Manville with the birth of 2 sons and after moving to Piscataway in 1957, their daughter joined them in 1958. Dorothy was one of the top ten Avon Sales Representatives for more than 10 years. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway, and she was an avid PTA member for many years. She loved to travel to Europe to visit her daughter and grandchildren. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband Stephen on November 23, 2015. She is survived by her loving son David G Dolgos and his partner Geri; her loving daughter Debby Hulsebosch and her husband Wim; her cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Emily Dolgos, Roland Hulsebosch and wife Kelly, Ryan Hulsebosch and partner Tina, Roy Hulsebosch and girlfriend Romana, and Vivien Hulsebosch. She is also survived by her sister Carol Ritz and by her brother George Hricz.

A viewing will be held on Monday May 1 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday May 2 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Piscataway, burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 501 New Market Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854
