Dolores Marie (Hardgrove) Gear

Dolores Marie Gear, 79, died Dec. 28, 2016 at Jeans Hospital in Philadelphia. She was born in Plainfield and had been a lifelong resident of Piscataway. Her husband Richard died in 1983. Dolores worked as a dispatcher for the Dunellen Police Dept. for 10 years before retiring several years ago. She also was a life member of the Dunellen Rescue Squad and had served as a secretary to its president.

Surviving are four sons, Richard and his wife Jackie of Bridgewater, Mark and wife Emily of Pitman, Kenneth of Piscataway , Brian of Middlesex, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Visiting will be Tues. 2-4 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 10AM funeral service on Wed. at the funeral home. Interment Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
