Charles Jager, a 52 year resident of Dunellen, died May 7, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Hungary Budapest and had lived in Plainfield before his move to Dunellen. Charles was employed as a truck driver for Hmielski Trucking in So. Plainfield for 25 years before retiring 21 years ago. He was a communicant of St. John’s Church in Dunellen and also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Dunellen. His wife Margaret died in 2015 and he was also predeceased by 2 brothers Andrew and Louie.
Surviving is his daughter Sheila Corley and husband Thomas of Middlesex, his son Charles of Dunellen a sister Ethel Czombos of Palm Springs, Cal., and 3 grandchildren Patrick, Brendan and Erin.
Visiting will be Wed. 2-4 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 9AM Mass of Christian Burial on Thurs. at St. John’s Church with entombment following at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
