Carolyn Marie (Hammer) Klimas

Carolyn Marie Klimas, 78, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University in Somerville on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Marie (Doering) Hammer.

Mrs. Klimas was a teacher for over 40 years at the N.K. Brampton school in South Bound Brook.

She is survived by her husband, Winston. She is also survived by her loving sons, Clifford and Kevin, her 3 cherished grandchildren and by her sister, Cheryl Petronella.

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 16, from 6:00-9:00pm at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 17 at 11:00am with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ.
