Brett Thomas Stoop

Brett Thomas Stoop, 43, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on Friday; June 9th, 2017 at University Hospital in Newark with his loving family by his side.  He was born in New Brunswick, and lived in Monroe until he moved to Bridgewater when he was 12. 

Brett was a jack of all trades, and took pride in the many different hats he wore throughout his life.  From carpentry to landscaping, he enjoyed it all. Brett was an auxiliary member of The Veterans of Foreign War. He loved to cook, and draw, and spend his spare time fishing.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving parents Arlene (Nixon) and Gary Stoop of Bridgewater, Sister; Shannon Kelley and husband Billy of North Carolina, longtime Companion; Lisa Spagna of Bridgewater, family friend; Lisa Mleczko of Hillsborough, and niece Andrea Krewson and nephew Will Kelley.

There will be a visitation on Monday; June 12th from 10-11AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.  A service will follow at 11AM at the funeral home.  Cremation is private.
