Armando Sorchini

Armando B. Sorchini, 92, passed away on Tuesday; November 21st, at his home with his loving wife and family by his side. Born in El Paso, Texas to the late Maria (Mendez) and Braulio Sorchini. Armando has lived in Green Brook for over 50 years.

Armando worked as a contractor for many years with his company Sorchini Brothers and Sons.  He was decorated Bronze Star World War II army veteran who faithfully served our country and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.  Armando was a member of the American Legion in Bridgewater.

Surviving is his loving wife E Diana Sorchini née Shallcross, 5 children; Armando B. Sorchini II and wife Karen Arnold of Warren, Maria E Sorchini-Guerriero of Shickshinny, PA, Alan Bruce Sorchini and wife Linda Glowinski of Green Brook,  Debra Sorchini-Jones and spouse Michael of Sewell, and Dara Sorchini and spouse Gary Clancy of China, Maine, Grandchildren; Dr John A. Guerriero and wife Tracy, Christina Sorchini-Ghizzone and spouse Patrick, Amanda Sorchini-Sergi and spouse Louis, Armando B. Sorchini III and wife Amy, Danielle Sorchini, Adam Sorchini and wife Michele, Michael Jones, Edward Sorchini (deceased), Stephanie Jones-Freitag and spouse John, Stephen Jones and fiancé Vanessa, Lauren Jones, Great Grandchildren; Christopher,  Sophia, Johnny, Jacob, Giavanna, Louis, Aric, Arabella, Zoe, Armando IV, Trevor, Rafaela and many loving nieces, nephews and distant relative

Visitation will be Thursday; November 30th from 4-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.  A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday; December 1st at 10AM at St. Johns Church, Dunellen.  Cremation and Military Honors to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Armando’s name to Pluckemin Medical Equipment Ministry, 279 US-202, Pluckemin, NJ 07978 and Adult Day Care Center of Somerset County, 872 E. Main St, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
