Anne Lillian (Sloyan) Getz

Anne Lillian (Sloyan) Getz.  Aged 88, passed away on Sunday July 30th, 2017.  Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was a Piscataway resident for most of her life.  Anne was a wonderful homemaker who cherished her family deeply.   She is predeceased by her son Donald, her daughter Constance and her loving husband Lawrence of 61 years.
 
Anne is survived by her four children:  Lawrence & Suzanne Getz of Piscataway, Daniel & Lori Getz of Flemington, Carol & Seth Miller of Green Brook, and Cindy & Robert Schneider of Middlesex.  Loving Grandmother to Christine, Katie, Sarah, Matthew, Jackey, Annie, Jenna, Bobby, Rachel, Will, Maggie and Great Grandmother to Jason.  Her devotion to family will be missed by all.
 
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America can be made in her name.
 
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 2 from 8:30AM-10:30AM at Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 2 at 10:30am at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Dunellen. Burial will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
