Ann Bonnie (Whitford) Weniger, 76, of Piscataway, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October, 25, 2017. Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Dressler) Whitford.
Ann worked for many years for Amp Inc, in manufacturing. She loved to garden, growing flowers, vegetables and ornamental trees. She was always fighting a battle to keep her lawn clear of leaves. Ann also loved garage sales. She loved being active, and was a friend and neighbor. Her greatest joy came from her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, Ann was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1978. She is survived by her loving children: her daughter Laura Barany and her husband Todd of Harmony, NJ, her son John and wife Theresa of Bridgewater, NJ, her daughter Rhonda Wendling and husband Frank of Belle Mead, NJ, and her son William and his wife Claudine of Ringoes, NJ. Ann is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Lauren, Karen, Trent, Victoria, Julia, Frank, III, who is currently deployed in Puerto Rico on a humanitarian mission with the USMC, Max, Emma and Miranda. She is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren Kylie, Loriliei and Jedrek. She is also survived by her siblings, Jeanine Lawler, Evelyn Eberhart,Carol Moyer, William C Whitford and John D Whitford.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 11:00am at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, where Ann’s cremains will be buried next to her beloved husband Robert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s name to either the Puerto Rican Action Board at prab.org or to the American Heart Association at heart.org
