Andrew C Simpf, Jr

Andrew C Simpf, Jr, 66 of Bound Brook, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at RWJ University Hospital Somerset with his loving family by his side. Born in Plainfield, he was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret (Ference) Simpf.

Andrew graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University, and later received his Master’s Degree from New Jersey City University. He served as Director of Health for Piscataway Township. He was a member of the Public Health Organization.  An avid hunter and fisherman, Andrew was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed time spent at Lake Ontario with family and friends. He was a sports fan, following the Giants and Yankees and Seton Hall basketball. His greatest joy came from his loving family, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie; his adoring children, son Andrew C Simpf, III, of Bound Brook, his daughter Cristina McKeever and husband Ryan of Middlesex, his cherished granddaughter Brynn McKeever, his brother Thomas Simpf and wife Janice of Calhoun, GA. He is also survived by his In Laws, Anthony and Gertrude Corsini, as well as by his brother in law, Anthony Corsini, Jr, in addition to many nieces and their families.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 15 from 2:00-4:00 and from 7:00-9:00pm at the the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave in Dunellen. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 16 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Catholic Church in Middlesex. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Andrew's name to ALS Association at ALSA.org/donate.
